HOW TO CLEAN EXHAUST FAN

Exhaust Fan is use to change the room air become fresh with circulation air system. But after several times, the dust will be stick to the fan and could make the can become difficult to run also sometimes the fan become noisy. At that time, it mean that the fan should be recleaning. This is the step to clean the exhaust fan :

  1. Turn off the power to the fan at the fuse box.
  2. Remove cover a soak it in hot water with dishwashing liquid. You can use an old toothbrush to scrub the hard to reach places.
  3. Unplug the fan unit and pull it out. Set it on some newspaper or cardboard.
  4. Wipe fan unit down with dry paper towels. When you get dust cleared away, may need to spray some window cleaner on a soft cloth and wipe blades down.
  5. Vacuum out the enclosure with vacuum crevice tool, wipe it clean with a dry cloth.
  6. Put unit back together and replace cover.
